Plantation shutter designs

The louver designs of plantation shutters are stylish and appropriate. Built to last and show a high level of craftsmanship. This louver is placed by hand into its mortise, so it can never fall out or flip backwards. The hand-rounded edges are set at a 45-degree pitch on 1" centers. The 1-3/4" louvers are deeply textured and dramatic. These wide louvers, set at a 30-degree pitch on 1-1/2" centers, make magic of the play of light. From morning until evening, there is constant visual interest as light and shadow play across the crenellated surface of each handcrafted shutter.

Thru Style Fixed Louver are handsome and heavyweight. This design features 2" louvers with a flat edge, pushed completely "through" the frame on a 45-degree pitch. Each louver is 3/8" thick and set 1-3/4" apart, hand-inserted and held in place by applied decorative molding.

New England Fixed Louver will be distinctive and airy. These 2-1/2" louvers are set on a 45-degree pitch, are flanked by applied molding that extends past the shutter face for a dazzling profile. This style employs a thinner louver, giving it an appealing, airy style. Like the Thru Style, this is another masterpiece of custom handcrafting.
